Litter On the Lawn after a Winter Windstorm

This is but a hint of the devstation in our neighborhood this past Sunday when our area, and much of the country, endured the worst windstorm in some years, it seems. We were without power for twelve hours after so many tall trees suffered fractured trunks or dislodged roots, resulting in falls across wires.

Very thankful to the linemen who risked lives to restore electricity. Cleanup of lawns will likely linger into spring, but thankful damage wasn’t worse, and that no snow fell while the gusts were in force!
