Croquet Anyone?

In the dark recesses of our cellar sits a croquet set that has seen better days. It’s wickets are warped and the pretty stripes of paint that circle the mallet heads are peeling

I have some pictures from childhood, when the set was new and bright like the clothes we wore on that summer day back in the seventies. Making the set like new wouldn’t transport me back to those times, but it could still provide someone with the pleasure of swinging a mallet on a sunny spring day.
